fire season, fires are forbidden except on a camp stove.

A couple hundred yards further south, there is also Wilson's Cabins. These are a number of simple beautiful and rustic cabins, which can be rented by the night. There is also access at this spot to Anne Creek.

Approximately a mile farther south is Crater Lake RV Park. This is privately owned, however it is set up to accommodate RV travelers. Note: It is a good idea to call them before planning on staying there to make sure they are going to be open.

About eight miles south of Crater Lake National Park is Fort Klamath. Lodging can be found here in the form of motor inns. This is also a rustic location, and since it is close to the park, it can be ideal for many.

For those not minding a longer driving distance through scenic areas, Klamath Falls is located to the south and Medford to the west of Crater Lake National Park. Both are roughly an hour away from the park, but feature many full feature motels, hotels, inns, and KOA campgrounds.

There is no shortage of places to stay when you visit Crater Lake National Park. The best places depend entirely on what you want. Either way, this park is a must see destination. The beauty is breath taking. Knowing that you don't have to worry about where to stay is just an added benefit to allow you to enjoy it without concerns about where you are going to park for the night.
