Im on the land Down Under
You on the Green Emerald Isle
Promised me so much
Not in wealth
Not in materials
You spoke of love
You said I would receive no pain
You Said to beleive in you
You said you would embrace me
They were my only dreams
Now only me in the dark
Drowning in a hot molten swirl
Fighting hard to surface
Why with oceans between us
Do I feel you linger
