Poetry: Beyond love

by Michael Stonecipher

Created on: February 07, 2009

When we're alone, and are as one,
let nothing rush the dawning drawing nigh...
Two drops of purest water gently coalesce
and kiss in silken trance for Love,
and form a single glimmered glimpse
of morning dew upon the rose I gave to you.
When we are still,
let nothing rush the rousing.
The satin folds are finding home
amongst the falling stars.
The hour glass in Heaven
and my fate,
and Fated All.
