Is time travel possible?

Time travel as a described by pop culture movies such as "Back to the Future" and "The Time Machine" is impossible for a number of reasons. Most of these reasons while rather complex in theory can be explained in simplified terms using physics. The first and foremost reason it would be impossible for practical time travel is that everything from our galaxy to our solar system to our planet is in constant motion, and traveling at a very high rate of speed. Lets say you did build a machine to travel back in time actually got it to work. You set the date to 4000BC and throw the lever. The buttons and whistles go off and you suddenly find yourself in deep space light years away from earth's previous location. I hope you built your machine with enough fuel and supplies to make it back to earth! Finding it would prove very difficult if not impossible because most of the galaxy has not yet been mapped for travel. Secondly the technology of the human race is far to inferior too build a machine capable of speeds necessary to tear the fabric of time and space. To travel through time one must travel at speeds in excess of 670,616,629.2 miles per hour squared. This number is far to great for even something as light as light itself to travel. However, there is an alternate view to time travel that one must "unlock" his or her self from this physical world to fully understand and appreciate. This form of time travel occurs when ones soul leaves the body in the form of an astral projection. Once your soul leaves your body it is free to do as it pleases. Billions of years can be transcended in an instant as well as instantaneous travel to any point in the known universe. The soul's potential is limitless as it reflects the limitless will of the human individual. I encourage yourself to try it as it will unlock an entire world before your eyes you never knew existed. Before you go to sleep at night try to induce a lucid dream by taking deep breaths and lying on your back. Set your thermometer on a temperature that provides you with the most relaxing comfort possible. Hopefully you will be relaxed enough to induce a lucid dream. If you realize your dreaming and everything is colorful you've accomplished the first step to astral time travel. Next think of a time in your mind you would like to go. For instance you want to see the crucifying of Jesus Christ. Just envision 32 Ad and in an instant you'll find yourself on the hill staring at three crosses. Don't believe me? Try it yourself, there's no limit to what your mind can do!
