How to search for your hardware driver easily

One of the problems you face when you get a new Device or when you get a new system (when you format or upgrade your system), is that usually the operating system does all the work for you but not always, Some Devices needs special drivers and some old operating systems just don't have them, So how to get over this? You've come to the right place.

Before anything, you need to know what is the driver, The Driver is a software that is used to help your system in knowing what device you have installed and how to operate it and how to treat it so your system can run it properly and efficiently.

What Are The First Steps In Searching For Your Driver :

Know Your The Unidentified Device First: When you are having problems with any Device check if its driver is installed properly, How? Its pretty simple, On Windows you just go to device manager and there you find it, Every device on your PC, The uninstalled drivers usually have a yelllow question mark near them, When you see that then you have a problem, And you need to download the driver to overcome it, Your first step is to know what do you need exactly, Know what kind of Device (Sound Card , VGA Card, Modem ...etc), And the exact name (Serial number, Manufacturer ..etc), This well help when you search for a proper driver for that hardware.

After Knowing The Driver You Need What next? When you know what you need you have to download its driver, Where? From A given CD, Usually any Device You get has a driver CD, Getting the right CD will get the job done, But what if you don't have a CD or its lost for example, Then go to whoever you bought the Device from and get a new one, If you can't, Look for it online, There are many Sites out there to help you, Just search in them and you will usually get what you want, Type in the exact number on your device and manufacturer anything that will help you find what you need, Do you Know Any Site that can be helpful? Sure,Try http://www.driverzone.com/ or http://www.pcdrivers.com/.

What next? I Got the Driver I need, Its Easy, Download it, Or you can go back to Device Manager and let your computer look for it In The place you have it, Thats it, Device manager will help you in what you need, And you wont have problems anymore.
