Click, click, click went the mouse
Passion, Wants and Needs
Beaming through the screen
One year of Tempestuous thirst
Closed my weary blue eyes often
Visualized he tasting my beads of sweat
Visualized he drinking the finest wine from thy lips
Wanting his sweet breath from Eire
To trace the nape of thy neck
Wanting he to explore
Every opened excited pore within my existence
Click, Click, Click went the mouse
Eyes wide open
Screen is blank
Visualizations no more
Stare from my window
Stare too the heavens
My blue weary eyes
Unearth a torrent of pain
So lost, So tired, bewildered
Trying to survive
My heart is tortuously beating
Click, click, click went the mouse
My screen is dead

Poetry: If you were gone
You Without Me
Oh what can it be
When I see you without me
The uneasiness of it all
And wrestling with my heart
Of being alone
We only met two years ago
But you are a constant in my life
The one thing that keeps me steady
When everything else is full
If you were gone
My life would be so much simpler
No calling to check on you
No going to pick up your mail
No going to pick
While I am here with you,
Close to my heart you will stay.
Never did I imagine
A love so fine.
With you,
My heart sings.
Because
by Helen Stuart
If you were gone
I'd have no reason to listen
For pick-up motors roaring
Into the driveway.
No smell of cigars
On your flannel
