What do I like about you?
You who drives me crazy every waking hour of every day,
You who copies what I do, and what I think and say.
You who steals my clothes, my bags and you who hides my shoes,
You who 'borrows' my possessions which you'll inevitably lose.
You who smiles so sweetly that you never get the blame,
You who always has to win, no matter what the game.
You, my little sister, who understands me like no other
You, ma petite soeur, whom I sometimes wish to smother,
You, my main competitor, who drives me round the bend,
You, my greatest friend at times, I'll forgive you in the end.
You, my little darling sibling, you who'll constantly be there,
You whom I love and often hate, yet for whom I'll always care;
I like that after time has passed, when we've eventually matured,
Good memories we'll have to share, and our hatred will be cured.

Poetry: What I like about you
by Carol Gioia
If I made a list of what I like about you,
I’d run out of paper before I was through.
The list would be long;
What I like about you as a person,
Are the defining strands of quality?
The sum total of your expression,

LA CHIHUAHUA
Spunky ye are
All 2 pounds of you
It's a wonder your ears
Don't tip you over
Sleeping on my shoulder
Tinkering through
What I like about you is that you're mine,
I like how it feels like you've been here the whole time,
Like we must have met
