Poetry: Would you mind?

by April Miller

Created on: February 06, 2009

Will you still love me when I'm old and gray?

If i had no teeth and two left feet?

Would you love me if i got fat and ugly?

Would you love me if i read old books and watched stupid talk shows?

If i took up knitting and never cleaned?

If i walked around with out shoes and swam naked in you're pool?

If i had a tendency to say things that i didn't mean?

If i swore at you when i get in a pissy mood?

Would you love me for all that i am?

Would you hold it against me if i walked in my sleep?

If i didn't get dinner made on time?

If i sat around all day in my under-ware?

Could you love me if i were all of those things?

But most of all would you love me till your dying day?

Would you let our love waste away?

Would you, even if i don't let you?

Please tell me that you wouldn't mind.
