All I know is you can't feel the love until you feel the pain
You won't find trust until you've felt afraid
You won't believe until you've lost your faith
And I'm not ashamed to feel this way

If there is nothing more than feelings
Why do we hear what our heart says?
If there is nothing more seeing
Why do we turn our face and look away?
When we try to define what we can't explain
We even complicate what should make us sane

And I'm not ashamed to feel this way

Life is a journey on a broken path
Where bridges are crossed and we find our breath
Discovering truth and sorting out lies
Falling hard on the ground and then grabbing the sky
If I could define what I am trying to explain
I'll only complicate what should makes us sane
