A visitor's guide to New York City's neighborhoods

Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca is a popular location for filming- you may recognize some of the streets from the movie Ghostbusters. SoHo, for "South of Houston," has become one of New York's most famous neighborhoods due to its destination shopping and huge collection of art studios and galleries. The historic district here has wonderful cast iron building facades and cobblestone streets.

Chinatown and Little Italy are great ethnic neighborhoods in Lower Manhattan. Visitors enjoy the festive Asian atmosphere in Chinatown with open markets and Chinese New Year celebrations.
