At dawn after the long, dark night,
Our baby girl said, "It all makes white."
She'd never seen it snow before
As she stood in wonder at the door.
Her parent hearts were also stirred;
She never before had said one word
She took our hands and led us through
Her white wonderland all so new.
And bundled up in her snug snow suit,
She trod the snow with each little foot,
Then she lay down and spread her arms
Our snow angel with heavenly charms.
She could only stay a few years for us;
God needed her for his heavenly chorus.
And, now whenever the snow flakes come,
We know she's safe in God's home,
And she looks out at the clouds so bright,
And says once more, "It all makes white".

It's a cold, cold snowy day
In this hell that you've given me
This world where you've imprisoned me -
Wrapped your ivy branches

Grey and black and all around, not coloured
