Songs: Being alone

by Jennifer Smith

Created on: February 05, 2009

INSANITY DROWNS ME

I stumbled

I fumbled standing

As the bottom of my earth fell into the sky

My stars retreated, I was

defeated

light lay stainless on my wall

again, and again, used

I was alone

(chorus)

Thoughts flow in the scrolls of my toga

dissolves of sorrow, emotions

rollaway headaches, unable to focus

and mistaken, I am consciously naked

as a blank piece of paper

I fall down

The white gown of my cold slumber

shuffles and disencumbers

a tremble my hips

the quivering in my lips,

drowns my face

All love is forsaken

I am alone

(chorus)

Thoughts flow in the scrolls of my toga

My Dissolves of sorrow, raw emotions

Rollaway headaches, I'm unable to focus

And mistaken, I am consciously naked

As a blank piece of paper

My insanity has drowned

Me

And Insanity drowns me

Alone..

Insanity drowns me.

Repeat chorus
