There's a blood red star next to the moon
It plays with Eros on a big brass bassoon
Running their fingers up and down the keys
Sprinkling musical dust to Earth on a breeze
Opening your eyes on this day of the year
A subtle sense of something special is near
Arrows are loaded, aimed and ready to go
Firing at will, from a match maker's bow
As stars shimmer far up high in night's sky
There's a heart on Earth, that's ready to pry
From the depths of heaven and infinite space
A Rose makes it's mark, opening with grace
Sitting on a table in a vase made of glass
A flower draws breath and a moment will last
When eyes meet there is not much to say
Except, I love you, on this Valentine's Day

There was a time not long ago
When candy hearts and flowers
And words said just so

And rose petals
Lead me up the stairs
Love notes in my briefcase
And
Candy hearts and flowers,
Just can't tell you how I feel
Today is very special,
and my love for you is real.
A card can spin
