Songs: Longing

I'm almost over you, meantime what do I do?

Listen to all the sad love songs? They remind me of you.

Watch old t.v. movies? Tissues use a box or two.

Look at anyone with blue eyes? My tears flow, they always seem to look just like you the blue eyes; they do.

But I want you to know that I can say honestly, I'm almost over you.

Still thou I can't help wondering, what it is you do?

Do you think of me at night, in the dark no lights?

Can you see my eyes cryin'?

Does your heart beat loudly in your ears at night?

Do my brown eyes haunt your dreams, as your blue ones do to me?

Eventually I'll find the end. Maybe in some distant time or land.

But at this time I'm sayin' honestly, I'm almost over you.

In my dreams I look and see your shinin' eyes of blue.

I hear your soft sweet voice talk to me and I'm glad for knowing you.

Along with the tears a smile forms now on my lips because,

I can say honestly, I'm almost over you...
