Visiting Las Vegas with kids

My husband and I love to go to Las Vegas. With all the shows and activities it is truely a fabulous vacation.

When we had children we dreaded giving up the Las Vegas trips, but we wanted to include our kids in all our vacations. Then my friend told me about Kid's Quest, and that solved our vacation woes.

Kids Quest is a unique daycare, playplace, at several casinos in Las Vegas including the Palms. My kids are now begging to go to Las Vegas so they can go to the playplace. It's ideal for the 4-10 year olds. They have so many fun activities, rides, games, ball bins etc, and one person watches only 5 kids at time. It is VERY secure, (we are definately overprotective parents so we made sure no one can get in or out)

We like the Palms the best. The Casino goes to the left, the Kids Quest is to the right in the same area, which keeps us close in case they need us! usually we let the kids play for 4 hours, then have lunch with them in the food court.

If you have older kids, they also have an arcade and movie theater in the same area.

Did you know that Los Angeles is only a 4 hour drive from Las Vegas, take a day and take the kids to Disney Land! There is also great Roller Coasters, and a Midway style game area at the Excaliber.

If you have a trekkie at home, the Star Trek Hilton is the best.

A trip to Vegas can be a great vacation for everyone! They may advertise it as Sin City, but during the daytime it's an amusement park!

Hint: Go in August during the off season and get great deals. (Just pack lots of sunblock!)
