THE MORE I WRITE
The more I write
The better I feel
I've got to remember
To write until
When my thoughts are channeled
From my head to my pen
My mind is free
To think again
The asylums are full
But
I won't be there
I'll defy insanity
I do not care
The more I write
The better I feel
I just must write
And Write until
I can not speak
But I can write
So write I will
I'll win this fight

Poetry: I must write
by April Self
They say "I must write!"
Or should it be "Write I must!"
Pull out that old pencil, and blow off the dust.
Spirals on my notebook
I Bleed Ink
My pen connects
With paper white
As blood runs out,
As black as night.
You see, my blood-
My life runs here.

I write to explore.
To explore the questions asked.
To explore the possibilities of what my life is.

by Jon Coe

Each page is clearly written and carefully penned
Like a roundabout without stopping
