Finding love online has become easier with the popularity of on line dating sites. Everyday I hear about people meeting the "love of their lives" through sites such as "Harmony.com" and "Match.com". But have you every thought to yourself, "How?" Maybe you've been one of those people who go from one site to the next, only to come up empty. Well, the key is being "honest". The truth is, there are many single people out there just waiting to meet someone like you. For what ever reasons, they've also come out unsuccessful. So, if you truly want to find love on line, you should follow these tips. Warning: Results vary.

Post a Profile

A "profile" is a short introduction of who you are, your education level, your likes and dislikes and age. What a profile does is give an individual an idea of who you are at first glance. This is tricky though. It is important not to give too much information at first. The key is giving enough to make them curious and come back. Highlight your personal strengths.

Post a Picture

With your profile, post a picture. We are "visual" people. We like to see what a person looks like. This enables a person to better connect. The picture you put up should be a full body shot that is classy. What you put on in the picture should accentuate your physical attributes. It is not wise to post " naked pictures". This will give a person an "unfavorable impression of you. When it comes to men, it is good to refrain from putting "body parts" in your profile. Most women will be turned off by this and never take a second look at your profile.

Respond to E-mail

You may get a response from your profile through e-mail. This is very important. See how the person uses his or her words. If they want to meet you and they send you a picture, respond with a short and simple e-mail. Be "honest".

The Meeting

If you two agree to meet "offline" make sure it is well lit place with many people around. This meeting will set the tone for the rest of the encounter. Wear something comfortable, but casual to the meeting. For women, they should not wear anything too revealing. Smell good and have fresh breath. A man will remember the fragrance a woman has on for a while. For men, wearing "kackies and slacks are perfect with a nice V-neck sweater. For both men and women, it is wise to be yourself on the date. Relax and laugh every now and then.

The Finally

At the end of the meeting, go with your heart and head. You have now felt the "vibe" of this person. Think about how he or she made you feel. Do not have intercourse with this person. If you want to have a relationship with anyone, it is wise not to have sex at all. It will only diminish the "quality" of the entire interaction.

Finding love online is not easy, because "love" itself is so unpredictable. The Internet can only be used as an instrument for love to travel.
