Young and innocent I
go to war,
Emerged in a twisted world
of horror,
The more I see the
harder I get,
Will I live to forgive
my regrets ?
Fighting a battle that
was never mine,
Listening to the
politicians whine,
Waiting for reprieve
that never comes,
Hoping to wake and
see the sun,
Will this nightmare
ever end ?
Or will i be the reapers
to tend ?
