Dear Diary, today is Monday and my first class starts in one hour. My first class is principles and procedures of the criminal justice system after that I have to run and I do mean run across campus to get to my deviant behavior class. Why does the school system not look at the fact that the campus is huge and the classes are on opposite sides giving me 5 minutes to go from one to the other? I swear my major may be Criminal Justice but my body is wondering if I didn't major in physical education some how. After my second class I have one of my general ed classes. This one is my sociology of death course. When my death corse gets out I will head over to the cafeteria and grab a coffee and something to eat, on my way to my police and society class. My last class for the day is my favorite, Criminal Law. Just the sound of the class makes me feel empowered in some strange way.
Well I am home diary and a stressful day it was, did not know there was going to be a pop quiz in my first class. Thank god I read it.Death class was oddly strange as we had to write our own obituary. My Criminal Law class as usuall did not let me down I have a 5 page report due in two days. I have to get ready for work, today I have to open the bar since my manager drank to much and is hung over from sunday. How will I get the reading and research done for my report? Guess not tonight, I will have to get it done after school tomorrow.
Good morning diary, with my lifestyle now a full time student and part time bartender I have no social life. I had to close last night, surprise my manager got drunk and left, leaving me there until 2am. I am so tired I dont want to go to class but my constitutional law class starts at 8 which is in 30 minutes then I have my criminal minds and serial killers class followed my principles and procedures of the correctional facilities. Of course I have my english, statistics and history class today as well. I will be home in about 7 hours then I have to work on my report due on wednesday first thing, I have to find away to eat at some point maybe grab a bite on my way to work.
Well diary it is Wednesday now. I am starving and tired and really want to cry from lack of food and sleep but I know this is my dream and I only have to do this for another 3 years. I finished my paper so you know, I was able to finish it behind the bar between the few drinks I was pouring. The sad thing is I lost a good friend last night, I am going to school for criminal justice so I can one day become a narcotics officer and I caught a friend not only using drugs but slipping it into other girls drinks. He has been my friend about 10 years but I know I can not continue looking the other way on behavior I know is illegal and wrong. I had to make a choice, kick him out and tell him not to return, or call the police and have him arrested. This to me was a moral decision and most people would have turned their head I just couldn't. I called the cops, he was arrested and I hope he will get the help he needs. Class is starting soon I have to go.
