Money is necessary in this world. In the world that has been created for us by those who came before us we cannot survive without money. This is sad but true. Whether or not we can be happy with or without money is up to us. We can be happy without money. But it is undeniably easier on us with money. With money we can pay to take care of the things that otherwise would trouble us. The ready availability of money alleviates the worries of shelter, food, and other basic necessities, but it also brings with it different worries and troubles. Money doesn't give us happiness but it can help us along the road. Ultimately, though, happiness is our decision.

Love, on the other hand, should not be influenced by money. Notice I said shouldn't, but once again in the world that we are now living in, love generally is entwined with money. As a selfish culture we want what's best for us and we want to make ourselves look good, so we generally deny the influence of money on love. We say that it was not a factor, or that we didn't think about it. But this is a bold-faced lie.

So, in short, unless we let it, money cannot buy love or happiness.
