I can't imagine thinking of anything,
With the exception of seeing you again.
You've consumed my every thought,
Taken captive my five senses,
And completely invaded my dreams.
I play out our time together,
Repeatedly,
Over and over,
Every single day with no fail.
I envision you,
Outside my front door,
Awaiting my answer,
With your face lit up like the Michigan fireworks,
On a cloudless June night.
Just as elated as I am that were finally getting a chance to spend that much awaited time together.
I envision the conversation we attempt to have.
Consonants meeting vowels,
In indecipherable, yet, rhythmic tangles of nervous speech.
I envision you're looking into my eyes,
As if at any given moment you'll dive into a pool of brown love.
At the same instance,
Unconsciously and seductively caressing me like that first nite not long ago.
I envision the feeling that overcomes me with each caress.
Unexplained heat,
Uncontrolled shivers,
Unexpected excitement,
Fearfulness of my inability to control myself.
I envision all this each and every day,
As I close my eyes in an aimless effort to embrace a much needed nap,
Only to discover that the images that invade my conscience are simply reminiscent of the last time that I left you with a kiss.
I can't wait to intertwine with you again.
As you ride upon me, like a surfer does an ocean wave,
Without laying a single hand on my body.
You are,
Mesmerizing,
Tantalizing,
Harmonizing,
Fantasizing,
To my soul,
Against my skin,
In-bedded in my flesh.
With your sensuous voice,
Magical fingers,
Playful demeanor,
You touch me in places that have long been extinct,
Without motion,
Breath,
Heat,
Or hands.
It's taken me several months to discover what makes our relationship so special.
It's the way you look at me
Your mere stare is so intense that I know,
Soon.
Real soon, you'll open the door to your heart and let a feeling you've never experienced before in to stay.
It's the way we shared a pleasant,
Yet surreal connection of instant "KEMISTRY".
The backs of soft hands,
Exhilarating conversation,
Comfortable silence,
School-age flirting,
Bright smiles, that only intensifies the hunger in our eyes.
It's the smile I'd love to give you in the sun-filled morning,
The TWINS still sensitive from your late night caresses.
It's being soaked in the after glow of your sweat,
Which is so flammable that a single spark will set me aflame again,
And again,
And again.
It's all this that keeps me awake most nights,
Anxiously anticipating the day that I can relax my body in your arms,
As we awaken to the scent of sweet lovemaking,
And the soul-try sounds of "MOOD SWINGS" playing in the distance of our hearts.
It's simply YOU, and what you do
