Short stories: Losing love

by Jeff Hale

Created on: February 04, 2009

" Please don't go" I shouted across the hall of my high school. For once in my life I felt loved, i felt like I was finally getting to know my self but know I don't know what to think of my self, I just lost the one love of my life. Most people wold say that i am too young to be inlove but I dont thonk so. I think that there is no age limit to love, if you love someone you love them.

Ashley and I had been together for almost three months now and it ended sundenly. I don't really know why it ended. Ashley said that she had enough. I asked her to change her mind but one part of her personality is being stubern. I don't mean it in a bad way but in a good way. If she wants something she will get it.

It all started Tuesday, the day before valentines day. Ashley and I have 2 of 6 classes together and durring biology, the second of our 2 classes together she had told me that we where through. Alex, my good freind since we where little had been telling me that she was seeing someone else but I couldn't belive him. Now I don't really know what to believe. Alex said that he saw Ashley with Mat. Mat is a tall, muscular, brown haired. I don't see why Ashley would ever choose me over him especially scince she could choose anyone in the school. Ashley was about 5 foot 6 inches with long shinny black hair and the most beautiful face you could imagine. She has freckels along her cheeks and nose. Ashley is very active, she particapates in almost every sport imaginable and has a letter in almost all sports.

I think the thing I am most disapointed about from this break up is the timing. Tomorrow was going to be the biggest party night of the year. There is going to be a party down near the lake and all students would be there. I am thinking of going with out Ashley to try to win her back. If I do it will be tricky but I might beable to pull it off.

The Next Day

"Dude, you ready for the biggest party off the year" Alex asked me. I didn't know what to say because the only reason I was going was to try and win Ashley back.

In the car Alex asked me if there was anything he could do to help me win Ashley back. I hesitently said no and looked out the window. Alex had turned on th local rap station and started bobing his head to the beat.

When we finially arived at the lake, there was a huge roring fire burning and nearly a hundred teens crowed around it dancing to the radio. The sun has nearly gone down now but the fire provieded enough light to keep the party going. I looked around
