Right Now I Feel So Alone
He's sitting on the couch, watching the TV
Scattered pictures on the table, a fifth of whiskey by his feet
He doesn't know that in the bedroom, she packs her things to leave
And in a moment she is out the door, but he can't believe
There's a letter on his pillow as he's climbing into bed.
He sets the bottle down where she used to lay her head.
He fights the tears hard enough to read what it said.
But he couldn't stop the tears when he read:
CHORUS
Where did the one I love go?
The one that used to say, "Babe I love you so"
There used to be more love in you than I've ever known.
Right now I feel so all alone
He stumbles to the counter of the kitchen sink
Bottle of whisky in his hand as he takes a drink
He spots a picture on the fridge, of her and him
That summer day at the lake with all of their friends
He takes that bottle from his lips and pours it down the sink
He sits down at the table, and starts to think
He stares at the picture and remembers why
Before I started drinking, I was a different guy
CHORUS
Where did the one I love go?
The one that used to say, "Babe, I love you so"
There used to be more love in you than I've ever known.
Right now I feel so all alone
The next day she is at the door with a truck to get her things.
She hands him all her keys and her diamond ring.
She walks towards the door but before she grabs her coat
The tears begin to fall when she see's the answer to her note:
Where did the one you love go?
I am down her on my bended knees, babe I love you so
I'm sorry and I want you back, baby please don't go.
Don't make us feel so all alone.

I can't pretend anymore,
That everything's alright,

I can't lie anymore,
About the raging fight,
Inside,

The perfect husband, beautiful home, loving family.
