At the present time, we are faced with Global Warming and the fact that it is irreversible. We are bombarded with people talking about a Green World and a world free from pollution. There have been people who even suggest that the Government should step in and stop pollution.

The key to controlling pollution lies inside each of us. We are the masters of our own destiny when it comes to pollution. We cannot rely on the government unless we want them to approve a law which regulates belching and flatulence. When we have educated ourselves on this reality. we must take further steps.

We must examine our relationship with the world. Unlike Steven Hawkins who thinks that the future of the human race lies in outer space, we must think that the Earth is our home. Until the day the Earth stops supporting life and we have to transport ourselves to another place like Titan, we must remember that the Earth is the only place that supports life. Without the Earth, we cannot survive.

The way to control pollution is to start placing trash in its proper place. We must not allow ourselves to fall into the temptation to throw our trash in the streets, and in the countryside. We must make a commitment to pick up after ourselves. When we have trash, we must send it in bags and tanks that go for recycled material. It must be remembered that recycled is better in all of its sphere.

We must learn to drive and respect the speed limit for one cardinal reason. In respecting the speed limit, we save gasoline and avoid contaminating the environment. We should also use alternative fuel such as fecal matter for electricity as used in certain areas of Texas and Sweden with success.

Since the politicians in Washington DC are so into Going Green and controlling pollution, we should control verbal pollution by telling them to put a zipper on their mouth. The same should apply to Hollywood and those who want to Go Green. We can have an arrangement in which the the Politicians and Hollywood Community can pick up the trash and place it in its proper receptacle. We can also add some of the Wall Street Executives such as Madoff to help the politicians with such a difficult task while the rest of us enjoy life.

The decision to have politicians, Hollywood types, and certain Wall Street Figures cleaning out the pollution could make them practice what they preach when it comes to pollution and contamination. It would be more effective than just talking about it or doing television commercials about Going Green.
