Sadness infects
Deeper than any joy
It wouldn't matter
If you told me
That which I long to hear
My ears could never
Hear what words you spoke
My memories
Speak so much louder
Than your heart ever could
Just because I know you
You are just as capable
As they ever were
Even if you never would
Or ever could
It has been done
And it can not be
Forgotten

Once, a butterfly flew
Upon a breeze that blew.
