Can individuals significantly ease the world water crisis, or must we rely on governments, corporations, the United Nations, the European Union and non-profits, for a remedy?

Turn off you're faucet when neccessary, recycle bathwater through a centrifuge and microwave atomizer with condensor solar powered or wind energy fueled, get rid of the decorator front lawn and plant native species that don't need extra water; discover a million ways not to use water except for drinking it when cool and clear with the perfection of hydrogen and oxygen molecules assembled without other chemical compounds polluting them. Individual ability to halt one's own water use concatenated socially can be huge; Individual ability to influence others politically to change macro-social economic structures inclusive of water flow are limited; a reciprocal of political effectiveness must exist. Global organizational structures in economics do not presently value environmental water liberty to naturally flow-water is regarded as a commodity previously channelled within drainage ditch formations-rivers were controlled and highways built alongside; concatenated human environmental engineering was deleterious and could not quickly be changed...millions of pollutants were added. Individuals may control their own habits or real estate but the concentrated power of wealth determines macro-economic structures concerned with profit rather than democratic environmental interests. One might advocate microwave municipal sewer systems of microwave toilets for homes that are not water users and discover resistance because of the inertia of existing infrastructure technology and training. The large scale ecologically wasteful and irrational economic infrastructure presents real problems for change that have previously led to the downfall of civilizations explainable within Toynbean parameters.

Many Americans are more concerned with victimizing other Americans than finding solutions to existential ecological destruction problems; if they have a government job or are secure in their position as SUV drivers or corporate minions they are often too glad to assault those seeking change, and prevent the invention or innovation of economic structures that are ecologically rational and socially inclusive. Fundamentally the 48 states is a society of spoiled, stupid primates occupationally secure and willing to destroy any of those citizens experiencing financial difficulty. Americans as a society of the stupid find stupid solutions to any macro-economic, ecological or social difficulty for they believe everything is fundamentally disposable. America is a society of disposable things
