The Adventures of Rick Rocket, took me by surprise. I first thought it was going to be one of those dumb, non-adventurous games that can't hold your attention. I played a few minutes, and bam it had me. The graphics on this game are fun and exciting. The unexpected space ship that comes from nowhere to attack, surprised me on more than one occasion. The fast moving meteorites kept me on my toes and signaled the alert, alert, alert, message to my brain.

I must say that the sound effects remind me a lot of star wars and made me feel like I was actually fighting battles in the great unknown. The music built on the effect of a warrior going into battle.

The controls are very easy to use, even for someone who isn't computer literate. They move the ship quickly and effectively. The quick turns with the arrow buttons, are great. As, so many games take forever to make a 180 degree turn. With the left and right arrow keys, I could easily spin the ship around and blast the attacking ship. The rockets propelled the ship quickly and effectively through the heavens.

This game is both innovative and refreshing. Between the story line that pops up and the on going battle, you want to keep playing, to see what happens next. I commend the creators of this new game and yes I would definitely purchase it. I can't seem to get enough. It was relaxing, yet, the tension continually built, waiting and wondering what was going to happen next. The screen in the upper right hand corner lets you know that something is approaching. Between, watching the upper screen and actually playing the game, I was definitely on my toes. I actually laughed at myself, as I was ready to set the guns blazing at any given minute.

The thing I really liked about this game, was the fact it is not filled with blood and gore. I would recommend allowing children to play it. It is definitely child friendly. Easy to play and would be great to build hand, eye coordination. Thank you for making such a new and exciting realm of play.
