Will You Still Want Me?
Will she tire of you and your odd little ways
Will she forget to smile at the jokes you tell.
Will she look at you, but really not see you.
Will one morning you awake to find that she's gone.
Will that day you realize your old and all alone.
Will you look back on the days long ago
When I, the woman who adored you was left all alone.
When you walked away from love that was real.
When all you could think about was how it made you feel.
When now you have only yourself and thats all there will be.
Will you then call me on the phone, saying Hi I'm here all alone.
Will you remind me I was at one time your friend and lover when others were gone.
Will then I hear you say "Will you still want me after the way I made you feel?"
Will you cry out loud at the thoughts of a life of loneliness and wish for days of long ago.
When I quietly smile, say goodbye and hang up the phone.

I look at my face etched with lines, as
I've endured the explicit test of time.
