Songs: One red rose

by Elizabeth Robinson

Created on: February 03, 2009

One red rose

was all it took

to make her see

to make her look.

One red rose

left at her door

for the one

that I adore.

One red rose,

it won her heart.

Made her sigh

opened her heart.

One red rose

with all the love

of every star

from up above.

I knew that if I gave myself a hope, a chance.

That one red rose would be deserving of her glance.

I knew that if I filled the rose with all my charm

That one red rose, would have her walking by my arm.

I knew that if I had the faith to make her mine.

That one red rose would make her think of me in time.

I knew that when the rose was left and it was done.

That she'd come to my arms, and be my only one.

One red rose

was all it took

to make her see

to make her look.

One red rose

left at her door

for the one

that I adore.

One red rose,

it won her heart.

Made her sigh

opened her heart.

One red rose

with all the love

of every star

from up above.
