Do you find yourself waking up to a nasty smell of rotten milk, and do a breath check and notice it's not your breath.When I first thought I may have been expecting, it was because smells from around the neighborhood were striking my senses as if I were cooking everything in a kitchen. I was doing a u-turn at a light and smelled garbage, I accused my boyfriend of passing some of his foul gas, and he pointed out across the intersection, that a garbage can being taken out to the curb must be what I smelt. Now how can a young girl like me, smell garbage in a bag over a hundred feet away? Pregnancy hit us hard that day and three tests proved the smell problems.

I went and had an ultrasound done to determine I was seven to eight months pregnant. I am glad he bought the test because the symptoms I experienced didn't suggest pregnancy. Smells of course were the first signs I had. Cigarettes were like a gas bomb, and hot dogs made me run out of the house like a bomb went off. We didn't think about expecting when this occurred, I could have been sick, and smells triggered it. If you are smelling stuff more and noticing the smells and what they belong to then you may be experiencing the early signs of motherhood.

If you find yourself complaining about restless leg syndrome but cant be positive if it is that, than it could be the early stage of a braxton hick contraction. This pain your having in your front thigh and hip areas are your tendons stretching so your hips can expand to maximum width, and trust me the pain remains after delivery for awhile. My mother suggested I had Sciatica, so I went to a chiropractor, who happened to be the first to hint for myself to take a pee test as soon as possible. So, if you find yourself tingling in the leg and having a hard time standing on one leg in the shower, and grabbing ahold of your man for support every now and then, well what lovely signs our bodies give to us that usually don't worry us.

Besides for the odd signs your bodies giving, the first thing you'll never forget is when you can stop talking about when your going to have a baby. Your body knows your expecting you may not know yet but your mind is preparing you. I spoke of names and when we should have one, and the things we would do with a baby, like fishing. Well now he throws those days in my face, you wanted one of these and couldn't wait to have one, blah blah blah. You cant help talking about babies or noticing them every time you turn your head, when your making one inside the inner you is giving away baby clues.

Now lets talk about that fetus of yours. At seven weeks it looks like a big tadpole I think. Although it already has a heart beat, and has determined its sex, it is very small. Usually the fetus is the size of a pea right now but already has working vessels and eyes and ears. The fetus's spine is starting to straighten from the tail appearance. A little heart beat can be heard, and the head is very noticeable, not the feutures of course. Your fetus at this stage is not much to talk about, but everyday is growing more cells and brain functions than we do in a life time. Right now is not the best time to want to see your little one, but around 18 weeks you will appreciate the whole pregnancy a bit more.
