Songs: True love

You Are My LORD

(Verse 1) When the lights went out and I would sit all alone. I used to wonder if there was a love that I could call my own. Over the years I have searched and thought I found, just what my heart was longing for. Only to find out, that none called me their own.

(Chorus) Then I found You. The One who loves me, despite my faults, You take me as I am. Now I know, what it feels like to have true love. The One my heart was longing for. You are my LORD.

(Verse 2) I can't count the sleepless nights, I spent crying my heart out. Feeling so desolate, my energy almost spent. Now my life has meaning, because of Your love that overflows. I can hear You tell me, "Child You are My Own".

(Chorus) Now, that I found You. The One who loves me, despite my faults, You take me as I am. Now I know, what it feels like to have true love. The One my heart was longing for. You are my LORD.

(Bridge) My life has changed for the better now. It is by Your mercy and grace, that I am found. I don't know where I would be, without You by my side. You showed me true love and called me Your Own. Now all I can do is cry out loud. Jesus, You are my LORD!

(Chorus) Now, that I found You. The One who loves me, despite my faults, You take me as I am. Now I know, what it feels like to have true love. The One my heart was longing for. Jesus You are my LORD! (repeat)
