THE PATH OF THE HEART: A little boy went wandering and he sat upon a hill. There he saw a strange spacecraft; it gave him such a thrill.
He thought, "Oh if I could go to other worlds far from home, I wouldn't have to do my chores and I could always roam."
And then, guess what? He suddenly knew, how, he did not know, that if he really wanted to, they told him this; that he could go.
Now he really did feel special; he knew something others did not know. He had a super duper secret. He'd better get himself ready to go.
He thought, "I could leave this world, it's a mess anyway. If I stay these people here will probable ruin it someday."Tthese were his fears. You see he didn't feel very brave. And besides which, he didn't see how he could help anyway.
Then he began to think about his family and his friends. "I wonder if they'll miss me; I may never get to see them again."
As he thought about his life sitting upon that hill, he felt the love grow in his heart and all was very still. He watched the sky change color and beheld the setting sun. A peaceful feeling filled his soul. Mother earth and he were one.
Suddenly he realized as he looked up in the sky, that earth was where his heart was. This is where he would live and die. Earth had given him life and love. Now finally he was aware; only his fear could make him leave. Earth also needed his love and care.
