My daddy is a hero,
He can't be home with me.
Because he's needed in the war,
Across the deep blue sea.
He said, just blow me kisses,
Don't worry, they'll be fine,
They'll travel fast, head straight for me
Sweet baby, Valentine.
My daddy blew me kisses, too,

Mommy says he'll send some more,
To look for them next week.
I cry because I miss him;
Mommy whispers, "We'll be fine."
Come home, I want to hold you,
Sweet daddy, Valentine.

And share all my good times
I want to have
