Family bonding: The little things that make a difference

What makes a family the special team they can be? The answer to that is very simple; bonding, Love, time, And of course devotion. There are so many ways to make a family come together and feel loved and wanted. Make sure everyone has their own time for their needs to be met. Then naturally you must do things together.

With children the alone time is much needed, Especialy if you have more than one child. Always do age appropriate activities with each child. If your child comes to you with a painting or a good report card always praise all their accomplishments. Make your children feel like they are appreciated for all that they do.

This rule also applies to the spouse. In todays world so many of us can loose track of time. You must always make as much time as you can to spend quality moments together. Time together doesn't mean spend a lot of money. There are lots of free things to do with the family. Take for example, The zoo.

All ages can find something fun about the Zoo. Now you can't just mope around staring at the animals. You must make up games and make the visit interesting. Not an animal type person? That's okay! There are Art museums you can discuss the many artifacts you see, What looks the silliest? What was this person or that person thinking? Just make it fun!. Well not the type that likes to be in a stuffy building? Then we have parks. Parks are free and can also be for all ages. Trust me I'm there a lot with my kid's and I see tons of teenagers. While your out bonding include a family meal.

One that everyone likes. It is always important to have family talks during this time. You can find out so much about one another. Number one question to ask is "What do you think about your day?" Indoor activities can be just as much essential as the out doors. Family movie time always seems to work best. You can never go wrong with a great family movie. Encourage children to get involved with as much activities as possible with the family. They do want to be apart of everything so make it possible for them. Enjoy their time, laugh, smile, play, and have lots of fun.

Everyone's family is different. All you have to do is find out what is important to them. What their likes and dislike are. There will be a few bumps in the road. Not everyone can all like the same things. Thats why my kid's go to the baseball games with their dad, But they will go shopping with me. Our children are a bit young, So dad doesn't care for watching the Barbie movies. Thats where I step in. I'm not the big time video gamer, Thats where dad steps in. We are a close family and find ways to spend much time with the children all together. Family game night is always a hit. Really a game of War or even a game of yahtzee can prove to be very enjoyable.

Bonding is not a chore and should not be meant to feel like one. Always do what you can to make sure everyone can enjoy something together. Listen to what each other has to say. Pay attention to every detail as possible. Know who you are connected with and make it a great life for everyone involved. Just remember it's what you say and how you say it, Also it's what you do and how you do it! Do what makes your family happy. They are who you truly have in life.
