Poetry: Windows

by Asif Joosub

Created on: February 02, 2009

Windows of opportunity
Through careful scrutiny
Some just see a view
Some have wholesome curiosity
Burglar bars between the glass and you
Shouldn't cast a doubtful shadow
Open or closed it's still a window
Don't let the blinds blind you
Behind an iron curtain could be a new you
Looking out
Some see paradise
Some see a drought
Watching the sun rise
Sunbeams shine polite
Looking through rain or shine
Or the moonlight
At midnight
Fresh air coming through
Two sides to a window
Stained glass a powder blue
Your eyes windows to the soul
Look through your window let your ideas flow
There are no closed windows so set your goal
