vintage video game experience. It simultaneously hearkens back to the glory days of 8-bit gaming, and points to the future of haptics, virtual-reality and game interaction. Games like Wii-Sports provide many-a-night of entertainment, and with Wii Fitness, you can even burn some calories while gaming. Additionally, the console's Opera browser is fun to navigate using the Wii Remote. Unless you invest some time with modding, it's impossible to have the same feelings with a PC as it is with a Wii-mote.
The Wii also is a family-oriented console; everyone can play, from senior citizens, to young babies. The Wii demonstrates that it's ok to share your video-games with family! There's no way to have that experience with a PC; PCs are for one person to use.
Dance Dance Revolution/Guitar Hero/Rock Band
Games like DDA, Guitar Hero and Rock Band require specially purchased instruments in order to be played. While I'm sure it's possible to play on a PC, part of the fun of these games is playing in a living room. It's the feeling of being in a house; comfort, interaction, and fun.
With PC gaming, it's about being alone, in your room, concentrating on something esoteric. The social interaction involved in PC gaming is always via text or image. There's not much cool about being alone in your room; it's detached from your family and friends, you wind up pale and malnourished with red-eyes and limited social skills.
Once upon a time, video games where not accepted by mainstream society; they were reserved for nerds, geeks, and other pariahs. Today, people accept video games as part of healthy leisure-time and the geeks who were once outcast are now as average as milk or high-fructose corn syrup.
