Why wait another second
This is the perfect time to
take the next step
begin a perfect world
advocate for people like you
give possibilities to the impossible
I started over
"Third times a charm" the people said
But
one was frustrated by me
one laughed at my attempt
and the other
When I begain
the step I left not only my footprint in
instead I emptied the entire contents of my soul
and how many people venture on
marching to the beat of their own drum
to the rythmn of starting over.

IN THE SHADOW OF A SPARROW
The winter brought death
White mixing with sorrow
Blended by the salt of tears.
The wind echoes
Loneliness
Loneliness is a bitter word
Just like feelings are hard to convey
Its a little ironic then
That you left me when
Its time to start over.
Time to move forward, no more standing still.
I leave you and the memory of you behind.
It hurts
