Poetry: More than just friends

by Belinda Southwark

Created on: February 01, 2009

Close, so close.

We were friends so soon

And so quickly it's progressed

I can't look at you

Without smiling

I can't see your photo

Cause I am laughing

You look weird

I'll tell you so

You'll get annoyed

But you love me too

I love you my dear

Please stay like this

Me and you

Forever and ever and ever and ever

Til time dies.

I don't know everything about you

I've never been to your house

Cause your parents are totally screwed.

You and me have no privacy

We make out behind the bike sheds

And if somebody sees then that's ok

We love each other too much anyway

Smile and laughing every day

Closer and closer
