Lately I've been dreaming, dreaming many things
I'm not dreaming I'm a king, not dreaming your a queen
I'm dreaming of a future, where my kids can live in peace
I'm dreaming of a cure, a cure for your disease
Someday I'll say I'm proud, I'm proud of everyone
I'm proud we fed this hungry man, and all that we have done
Someday there be no killing, someday there be no scene
But today will not be that day, because this is just a dream

Poetry: I have dreams
Yes, I have dreams.
Dreams hungering and thirsting,
truly seeking fulfillment.
Often they leave me gasping,
gasping for air
Slowing slipping sleepily slumbering
Drifting dreamily dazed on night's wings
Lingering loitering lazily lumbering
Carried
Lately I've been dreaming, dreaming many things
I'm not dreaming I'm a king, not dreaming your a queen
I'm dreaming of a future,
Life is a breeze flying by
Better be careful
Or you might miss it
Life is like a wave
Drifting throughout the sea
by Ed Ostrom
As I travel Recovery's way,
Let my dream be victory I pray,
May my aim be to overcome,
The long course my addiction will run,
Now
