When writing on your blog, make sure the content is interesting and varied. If you've decided to focus on one specific subject, make sure you have many different points of view to provide, all with content that will grab your readers and make them want to return to see what else you have to say.

The blogs that post daily are the more popular ones, and the ones that post many times get the most hits. Check out Technorati.com once you've established your blog, and claim it there. You can 'ping' every time you update your blog, letting them know you have new stuff for viewers.

Keep your blog updated. It's much more interesting to visit a blog that always has something new to look at. Your content doesn't have to be just writing. Add pictures and links for more interactivity.

Get other blogs and websites to link to yours. This will increase the traffic to your blog.

It's your blog, so there's really no wrong way to write or publish. Just remember that well-written articles containing clear and concise information, along with informative pictures and helpful links will help to keep viewers coming back.
