How to make your waist smaller

There is no easy way to make your waist smaller. If there was a pill or an exercise don't you think everyone in the world would be doing this? I know I would. However, there are a few things that have been proven to work on reducing your waist size. If you are dedicated and have the time to put towards a few basic exercises, you will have that small waist you are desiring. We are talking about ten (10) minutes a day here. I know we all waste at least ten (10) minutes a day dreaming of that smaller waist. Well, make your dreams a reality. Start today with a basic plan and in no time you will have what you desire. Here is the plan:

1) Every morning when you roll out of bed, just roll onto the floor. The routine is ten (10) crunches, ten (10) side to side crunches and 10 reverse crunches. This will wake up your stomach muscles. It will also use the muscles prior to anything going into your body so it truly is working the fat off.

2) At lunch, find a space you can be alone for 5 minutes. You are going to do planks. It's 1 minute in a forward plank, 45 seconds in side planks on each side. Go through this twice. It may take a minute longer than 5 if you take a break between planks. The most effective use of this exercise is without breaks, but don't worry if you start with a break or two. You will work up to the full time allotment.

3) You must adjust your diet, I know this is the hardest part of the entire plan. However did you know that every sugar you put into your body goes directly to your waist? That means every potato, bread, banana, sugary treat, Splenda; everything that contains a form of sugar is creating that roll around the middle. The plan would be to cut one sugar out per day. So if you were planning on cereal in the morning, fries at lunch and rice for dinner; take one out. You still have the other two in your diet.

4) The ongoing workout you will need to do is keep your body straight and tall all day. No slouching. This will keep your stomach muscles working all day without hitting the gym. Every time you think about your stomach, pull it in. This will make you stand or sit straighter while contracting your muscles. It's an isolated muscle workout.

These are tried and true methods to creating a slimmer waistline without the expense of joining a gym or sweating through a workout. If you have a desire and 10 minutes of time, you too can be on your way to a healthier you. Enjoy the workout and get ready to shop the next size down.
