I am the queen of my universe. I rule with love and compassion. I am strong. I have friends and advisor's who offer their support and advice. My subjects are loyal to me because they know that I truly care for them. I am happy and I am confident. I am wise and understanding. I have beauty and grace. I exercise morality and goodness.
My strength comes from my God. He has given me peace and happiness. I rely on his guidance daily. He has also given me armour to wear on days of battle. The battles may be long and hard, but I always win. I win because I choose to fight until I do. I will never give up. This is me, and it is what is expected of me.
My kingdom is a glorious and wondrous place. I have been given the gift of a beautiful sunrise every morning and a spectacular sunset every evening. My sky's are filled with billions of sparkling stars that wink down upon me every night. There are trees that shed their leaves in the fall showing me their individual uniqueness. Each as different in their growth, as a finger print. They offer shade in the heat of a summer day.
There are streams of clear water that sing to me as it makes its way to the vast ocean. Birds and creatures of every imaginable shape and size with their unique songs and calls that fill my senses. Innumerable flowers and spices grow in my kingdom. Each with its own beauty and scent. I stand in awe looking at the beauty that surrounds me. I have days when cool, clear rain descends upon my kingdom to nurture and nourish all who live here.
I will share my kingdom with anyone who can see and appreciate the beauty that is all around us. Cynicism and negativity are banished with great haste.
My world is perfect. Perfection lies in the the flaws. There is some sadness and loneliness here. Without those, how could we fully appreciate the comfort of a friend? There is night, because without the darkness, how could we understand the brightness of the light? There are tears, because without the tears how would we grasp the intensity and music in a laugh? There is death, yes even death. Which may be one of the greatest gifts of all. Without death, could we ever understand the gift of LIFE?
I, as the queen, am not exempt from the sadness and loneliness. What kind of queen would I be if I did not feel the same emotions as those whom I love? I am a warrior, yes. But even a warrior cries.
My kingdom for a hug.
