Why?
Why do I love you?
There's so much that's wrong.
Why should i love you?
The list isn't long.
You make me cry
All alone at night.
You pass me by
Even though I'm right.
You fill me full of hopes
Again and again.
You make it hard to cope
In my lonely pen.
You string me along
Just to drop me on the way.
You treat me oh so wrong,
But it's only you I crave.
You can't love me,
But you make me love you.
You don't want me to see
Anyone but you.
You deny it, but I know;
It's me I don't understand.
My heart is yours to throw-
Why don't I want this to end?
It's masochism, I think,
The way I want you,
But I'm never on the brink
Of saying I'm through.
All you do is hurt me,
And my heart always breaks,
But it's only you I see,
And my love for you aches.
But the way you look at me
When we're all alone
Is all I want to see,
And you're my only one.
The way your hair glistend
In the light of the moon,
And the way you listen
Will carry me through.
The way your smile melts my heart,
Is enough to make me whole,
And the way you fix my broken parts
Makes my love a smoldering coal.
Why do I love you
When the road's so tough?
But I still will love you,
And I know that's enough.

Poetry: I still love you

I can promise little,
But I promise this:
Through all of our troubles,
The fights and quarrels,
Through all of our times,
The
I do not know why I still love you
The shadow of you always haunt me
You always present in my dreams
I can not forget you
I still love you
After all these years
Once we were lovers
But I didn’t understand
So I ran away
I returned to you
I can’t believe I did it.
I can’t believe I broke up with him.
I need to come down now.
What did he do to feel
I don't want to see you,
for the benefit of me.
But I can't not see you,
for the sanity of me.
You are a drug,
that I'm
