Scrapbooking Disney pages are a joy! Whether you are recording memories of that fabulous Disney vacation, a fun-filled Disney birthday party or just good 'ole Disney playtime, you can make some enjoyable pages without breaking the bank. Now, we all know that you could pick up the Disney Scrapbooking Kits or Disney stickers and make some really great pages, but the focus here will be on creating Disney pages from some very simple scrapbooking supplies that you already probably have in your scrapbook stock. As with all memory book pages you can make your pages detailed or simple, however, you should always let your photographs be the 'star of show'. Here are some straightforward ideas for creating your own truly unique Disney pages.
MICKEY pages: Use red stock paper for the base of your page. Now cut out silhouettes the shape of Mickey's head (think of a circle with ears). A large silhouette can 'frame' your favorite photos or small silhouettes can line the page and hold your captions written in white. These make simple, yet eye-catching pages. (Two simple twists on this page: cut white silhouettes of Mickey's gloves and use in similar fashion or create Mickey's blue Fantasia hat with yellow stars).
PRINCESS pages: Cut silhouettes of princess shoes and add glitter, then surround your princess's picture with the shoes on a contrasting background. Another great princess idea, use pink princess paper for the base of your page, add a little glitter and then your photos. Now, embellish your photos with ribbon and faux jewels. If you want to make this even more elaborate, add a thin layer of filmy fabric over the entire page (you can attach it on one side so it can be lifted to see the photos more clearly).
DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM pages: use green, brown or animal print paper as your backdrop. Embellish or even mount your photos on faux fur, faux leather, or even peacock feathers. Another great animal print idea is cut out paw prints (and write your captions on them) and let them lead you through your photos. This idea also works well for numerous Disney Animal Movie themed pages.
SPACE MOUNTAIN, MISSION SPACE, STAR TOURS pages: Use midnight blue or black as your setting and add circular cutouts for planets (it really looks great if you use the paper that looks like rocks, clouds, etc.), sticker stars or cutout stars and glitter for comets and faraway stars. You can use the planets and stars to write your captions or even write them on the background paper in glitter or metallic ink for a really out of this world page.
Now, you get the idea, Disney pages are all about having fun! Now you can use these ideas or 'imagineer' your own one of a kind 'fantasmic' Disney pages. Just remember, it's Disney, so it's all about the fun, the magic, and the adventure; for that reason release your inner child and enjoy creating your Disney scrapbooking pages.
