We've all read the stories online (and in magazines at the library, dentist or doctors office), about how an at home mom seemingly made millions over night. Everyone wants to know how its done and many are willing to spend the $97 to $597 to find out by reading the report (and supposedly the directions) on how to make the millions over night. It promises you will be a successful work at home mom.

The brief article (the part that is free) goes on to tell you how you can work for only 15 minutes per day and have the rest of the day to play and enjoy your life while you are earning your millions by doing nothing. It sounds so easy to be a successful work at home mom.

The article continues on with "success" stories of how Sally was so successful that both she and Tom were able to quit work and now each only work 15 minutes per day and not a minute more and they have a yacht, new multi million dollar home, several cars and a vacation home in Cabo. It may even contain more than one testimonial.

So as you are stumbling around in your jammies trying to get the kids out the door to the bus and pouring yourself more coffee you are thinking of how wonderful this whole scenario would be. You're tempted to pay the money and read the report but you aren't quite sure how you will explain the money you spent to your spouse.

You hem and you haw about it internally until you finally give in and pay the money, only to find out, there really isn't much more to the report. Sally and Tom are now bankrupt and the reason they are bankrupt is that they didn't invest their money or continue putting any effort into it. Sure, it was easy to spend the money, but they missed a few points. They relied on continued income from new sources and they didn't re invest into it.

The report goes on and on but it never really gets to the point. You have just wasted your money, and worse, you have absolutely nothing to show for it. Except perhaps a few pages in the downloaded file online. Suddenly, it is very clear how these folks are making this kind of money. Its simple, they make this money by selling this same scheme over and over again to people that desperately want to make that kind of money. The problem is, the market is saturated with such schemes and eventually, without new contacts, they will be bankrupt.

The truth of the matter is, the successful work at home mom has more than one job folks. In addition to being a wife and mother with the responsibilities of housekeeping, dishes, laundry, cooking
