I am a self confessed celebrity gossip monger. But to the real world, I am in the proverbial closet about my love for celebrity gossip. For various reasons there is a stigma attached to those that share an interest in the personal lives of the rich and famous. A stigma that is looked down upon, noisy-even. And because of this stigma, I tend to hide my quest for gossip. And since I'm being honest, I'm not even really sure why I get pleasure out of knowing what groceries famous people shop for or seeing pictures of them pumping their own gas. But I do. So, let me share what I believe to be the best of the best forums or avenues to find juicy gossip on your favorite celebrities.

First to the magazines: I am an avid fan of US Weekly. This is a gossip magazine, there is nothing more than fluff here, no substance or intellectual aritcles to hide behind. That being said, there are some really great weekly sections like, 'Stars just like Us' or 'Who wore it Best' that feature celebrities in situations you don't normally see, such as pumping gas or wearing the same dress as another celebrity. Also, the magazine is loaded with pictures and seems to carry more reliable information that others, like The National Enquirer.

Also in the privacy of my own home I have discovered three fantastic sites to indulge in my gossip guilty pleasure. The first is www.tmz.com. This site is financed and run by AOL/ Time-Warner. It has a fantastic set-up and lots of info; broad or tailored to just the people you want to know about. It seems to be a bit more mainstream as well known throughout the industry and has since spawned a Extra-like half hour television program. For those a little more adventurous, try www.thesuperficial.com. This site can be a bit more raunchy but always has the filthiest dirt on those people that are train-wrecks and you find it hard to look away. Also for those familar with the term, this site is NSFW. Finally, for the creme de la creme of no holds barred, try www.wwtdd.com. This site only features about five articles of interest a day but they are tend to truly be the highlights of gossip that day. Often written with sarcasm and a flare for womanizing, the site is really enjoyable and funny. Again, don't go surfing this site during work hours, there is the occasional nip-slip or flash, so again NSFW.
