The Coldest Winter Ever
I've never felt so cold.
No warmth, even from those who are
Supposed to serve as scarves, gloves, hats.
I'm so cold.
My heart is shivering, about to freeze over.
I've never experienced a winter this bad
And I have to wonder;
Did I jump into the fire from the pot?
Well, I'm feeling so hot, I mean cold.
It's like I even have a brain freeze.
Can't even cry out for help
Cuz it's all me.
Didn't see things for what they were and just
Dove-
Right into a pool that I could not see
The bottom.
Thought I could have it all planned out,
Guess I'm not even wearing the proper
Coat.
I wish the frostbite would just numb me
So I could plow through this winter
The coldest winter ever.
Knee deep in snow
And rained upon by dark clouds
Of sleeting rain.
I've never felt so cold...
