Many fake Christian people believe that anything that isn't positively written in their "Bible" is considered to be the work of the Devil but if they knew the truth then they wouldn't be so ignorant.
The topic is does a Ouija board work? The answer is that it's very possible. Like many tools, it can only work if people want to believe that it can. It doesn't have to be an overflowing faith/belief that it will work, but it at least has to be an inkling of belief/faith even if they don't mean to believe.
The Ouija board can bring anyone into the line of communication - calm or violent; it really is quite diverse - just like when you're still encased in a body.
Many people believe that the Christian Cross is a power tool - and to many it might be. To me, it's a religious form of jewelery. I personally see no power in it and frankly, no deep seeded feeling of empowerment or faith when I see one.
Some people believe that a doll representing a person holds power, and for them, it does.
It all boils down to applying what Descartes said: I think therefore I am.
If one believes that something exists, then it does. If someone believes that something is a tool or holds power in bridging a gap, then it does.
I saw an article that practically screams out that the author is extremely ignorant to the infinite degree. They've tried to tie kids using a Ouija board with them taking their own lives. My advice: Get some professional unreligious help!
The Ouija board has nothing to do with the "occult". It only deals with speaking with spirits. James Van Prague a well known medium AND he is Christian. Does this make him blasphemous? No. It means that he's more open minded and he loves his God. He's helped police with finding missing people and to find out what happened at a scene of a crime as well as helping individuals trying to get in contact with loved ones who have passed. I see this as someone who wants to heal people and give them piece of mind. This does not mean that he is into the "occult". He uses his Tool/Gift to bridge a gap to communicate to people and so does the Ouija board.
But like life, not everything is peachy or positive. Accepting that life isn't good or bad - that it's just life will help people understand that everything that they don't know isn't bad and that what they do know doesn't mean that it's good.
Ouija boards have been around for quite some time. Some people try to use it for fun - which you really shouldn't and others use it to try and find answers. Sometimes they get answers but it might not be the ones that they were seeking. Other times it can open a doorway to where spirits can constantly haunt/hurt them or even can link someone to a guardian who protects them.
Everyone has choices of how they wish to try and understand life as a whole. Some use religion or other forms of faith, some use philosophies and disciplines, while others try an alternative means.
The best advice to give to someone about using a Ouija board in all honesty is don't unless you're a medium. Just seek guidance in another form.
