Psychology - is communication the key to overcoming obstacles?

Everybody was trying to wind me up, but the ins and outs of it were that I was developing myself. I was on the vitamin pills each day and I was trying to get as much as possible in the house on a budget and keeping busy all the time. And not telling people too much. Though, when my cats were not happy, then I was not happy. I had very little left in the house that was nutritious to eat and I had agreed to wait around for people, who were, I thought, engineering trouble. These workmen never told you when they were going to call, unless you persisted. Otherwise, they looked after themselves and told all sorts of stories - like you hadn't paid for their work - which was untruthful - proving otherwise to them. I had been told, in between 8 and 12 and had been up well before 8, so was more than ready. I checked up at about lunchtime, when they had not turned up and was told that they were running late. So, I should not go out.

They did not seem to put their feet in other people's shoes. Of this I was sure. I was definitely not impressed. They should have been more on their toes and called me, rather than wasting my time.
I was certainly disgusted.

When I had gone to the gym the other day, it had not been clear what the shampoo was in, what colour it was, etc. There were no labels anywhere. I thought it was ridiculous for the amount of money they were paid and came out of my account on a monthly direct debit. After all, they had been aware that I had not been to the gym from their computer records and there was no proof that they had telephoned me at all.
They had just sent me junk mail, with costly numbers and I was pushed from pillar to post. Nobody could be pleased about his or her attitude.

The last time that I had been to the gym, they had called me a "Birthday Girl" and told me to take my bag to the changing rooms, but I was unable to lock it away, as they had not clearly told me that this was possible. After all, I deserved a bit of decency, since I was paying their wages with my own hard-earned cash. And they obviously did not look at my records properly or communicate assertively enough. I was disgusted. I was yet to speak to the manager, to reduce my monthly outset, since I did not have the time to use them at the moment. Only to find out that I would be charged the extra! And, they took people's hard-earned money, taking advantage of some, when they could.

After all, in the tea/coffee lounge, a number of people found it difficult to cope and people were always having to be reassured. That much, including myself, had noticed. It was now that I was on the warpath that they were beginning to help me, as and when I wanted, since I had had some training and been enough times in the few months that I had been using enough of the equipment.

My parents were also making out that I was a charity case and was lazy. This I was disgusted with and walked away from.
