Worship: A love relationship

I believe man was created to worship GOD with a pure heart. By pure I mean with a sincere heart. I believe worship starts with the motive of the heart. "What a man thinks in his heart so is he." That is what the bible says in Proverbs 23:7. Pure worship has to come from the heart in order to be affective. We can go to GOD with our lips and say great things but unless we mean it we are only speaking empty words. We can go to HIM with our acts but unless we have in mind to please HIM we are acting in vain. We can serve in our church or local community but unless our motive is to honor HIM we are serving flesh which again is vanity.

I believe that most of the time when we think of worship we think of the time we spend speaking great words to GOD or singing, or crying. But pure worship goes much deeper than that. Pure worship starts in the morning when you arise from sleep. It starts with the joy of knowing we are alive to face a new day that GOD created and gave to us. It starts with actively and willingly reading HIS word and soaking in all HE has to offer you to start our day. It starts with a hearty greeting from us to HIM. It starts with our listening to hear HIS response to us. Pure worship then continues throughout our day when we thank HIM for the events of the day no matter good or bad in our opinion. I must say in our opinion because some things that do not seem good are really good for us because of the changes they bring. Pure worship then continues when we end our day with thanksgiving for the challenges it has brought, for the victories we have won and the obstacles we have over come. We must give thanks for the things we have learned and experiences we have gained; All because a Loving GOD saw fit to keep us alive just one more day. I believe there is so much more to pure worship however if we can start there and perfect that we are well on the way to mimicking Christ in our own pure worship.

PURE WORSHIP LORD

my love for you must go beyond my emotions

I don't want to shed empty tears

Tears that water but do not nourish

I don't want to offer vain worship

Hands raised to receive and never to give

I want my life to touch many with a positive touch

Can I make a difference?

Can I make a change?

Can I offer hope to a weary soul?

I must posses the spirit of humility

In order for anything to make a difference

It won't count otherwise

Only what I do for CHRIST will last

Only what I do for CHRIST will matter

Who's going to remember what

about me?

When I am gone

Unless I did things correctly

Unless I make a true impact
On the heart of GOD THE FATHER

No one will have cause
To remember me

All I have done until now is dung

A pile of dung On a dung Hill

I want to enter pure worship

When worship is pure it touches the heart of GOD, When GODS heart is touched your whole world and everyone surrounded by it is touched. HIS pleasure in what you bring spreads to you and those whose lives you touch and that is what counts the most. Search for ways to enter pure worship and find the true meaning of loving and being loved. The end result is worth the effort.
